Please help us to choose our winner from Vintage VW Campers' selection of
The Best Photos of Scotland 2019
Vintage VW Campers' Guests of 2019 celebrated holidays, special birthdays, proposals, weddings, honeymoons, reunions, North Coast 500 roadtrips, Hebridean Island hopping tours and Orcadian odysseys. Once again we met many lovely humans & canines & were privileged to share the joy of campervan living with people who love & respect the VW T2 Campervan, as much as we do.
We really appreciate it when you share your photos, videos and journal entries with us & thank you for your many entries to our Guest Best Photo Competition 2019. We have once again whittled them down & have the final 35 here to share with you.
Please vote by emailing [email protected] the caption under your favourite photo.
Winners will be announced before the end of the year and prizes sent out afterwards. Any photos sent to us after the closing date, will be automatically entered into our 2020 competition.
Entries can be uploaded to Instagram (by public profiles) using #VintageVWCampers & mentioning or tagging @vintagevwcampers. You can also share or message them via our FB page: https://www.facebook.com/vintagevwcampers/ or on [email protected]
Best Video of 2019
We receive fewer video entries (than photos) and this year we had a clear winner from our Beatles loving couple who made a pilgrimage to John Lennon's favourite holiday destination, right up on the north coast of Scotland at Durness.
As a child Lennon used to love holidaying there with his Aunt, who lived in a cottage overlooking Sango Sands. On 1st July 1969 he famously crashed his white Austin Maxi, when returning to the area with Yoko, her daughter, Kyoko and his son, Julian. The four were air-lifted to hospital, mainly with cuts and bruising but Yoko had injured her back.
Congratulations Cheryl & Darren! Your Vintage VW Campers Gift Voucher & goodie bag will be sent out shortly. Thanks so much for sharing your awesome Vintage VW Campers Adventure with us.
